LES VACHERS provides a perfect location for a peaceful and picturesque holiday amongst the vines of the Bergerac wine growing area. However, at the same time it is within easy driving distance of all the amenities and attractions of the beautiful Dordogne valley as well as the vineyards of St Emilion and Bordeaux.

LES VACHERS is a small hamlet in the commune of Thenac around 8kms from Sigoules in the SW corner of the Dordogne where it borders the Gironde and Lot et Garonne. We are situated in the Perigord Poupre, the wine growing area. BERGERAC, just 25kms away on the river Dordogne, is our nearest town of notable size.

SIGOULES is ideal for daily shopping needs with all the usual amenities, including a bank, post office, bar/restaurant, bakers, newsagent, chemist, doctor, dentist etc. There is also an excellent supermarket, a small market on Friday morning whilst on the third weekend in July it hosts a two day wine festival.
